Bicycle Safety Celebration!

TIME: 8:30-12 noon

View Larger Map The Boy Scouts Crossroads of America Council, Pioneer District Troop 161, Purdue Extension-Marion County 4-H and St. Matthews Episcopal Church are teaming together to bring you an exciting morning of fun bicycle activities . Ages 6 through adult are invited to participate. Those under 18 must have a parent or guardian present. Awards will be given to those who complete the safety day activities. Below include some of the following activities:

• Have your bicycle checked for proper safety and maintenance
• Learn how to make your helmet fit safely and comfortably
• Receive information on rules of the road and how to ride safely
• Present brain injury prevention by Riley Hospital
• Provide information on registering your bike entered in the National Bike Registry
• Provide optional opportunities to join Boy Scouts, 4-H, and the Central Indiana Bicycle Association
• Practice cycling on a challenged course
